Crow Canyon Software is looking for an experienced Technical Support Specialist.

Founded in 1999, Crow Canyon Software has been providing robust applications, development tools, and consulting services on the Microsoft platforms for over 20 years. The company boasts a global clientele in industry, government, education, and non-profits of all sizes and types.

Crow Canyon first focused on the Microsoft Exchange Server and Outlook environments, but once SharePoint rose to prominence as Microsoft’s collaboration platform, around 2007, the company expanded to providing applications and business services on SharePoint. Now, with the growing use of Office 365, Crow Canyon has again kept ahead by developing applications and tools that greatly enhance the capabilities of Office 365.

Job Description

The role of the Technical Support Specialist is to work with Crow Canyon customers to resolve reported technical issues with Crow Canyon’s software.

Successful candidates will have a background in using and working with software and hardware, have familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript or HTML, and be enthusiastic about helping customers. Experience working with and supporting SharePoint and SharePoint-based applications is a key requirement. Support sessions with customers will be conducted online using Microsoft Teams or other screen sharing and remote conferencing tools.

Essential Duties

  • Schedule support sessions as per customer availability
  • Work diligently and tirelessly to resolve issues with our software for customers
  • Stay on top of assigned support tickets and update support tickets daily
  • Create knowledge base articles
  • Actively suggest product enhancements based on customer feedback and user experience
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to quickly learn new software products
  • Willingness and ability to share knowledge with others

  • Self-starter
  • Experience with supporting applications in SharePoint and/or Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with basic programming languages such as HTML and JavaScript

Experience

  • 1-3 years of working with SharePoint, either on-premises or in M365
  • BS (preferred) or another 4-year college degree

Helpful, but Not Required

  • Experience with successfully writing JavaScript code
  • Experience with Crow Canyon’s NITRO Studio and/or business applications
