Crow Canyon Software is looking for an experienced Application and Software Instructor.

Founded in 1999, Crow Canyon Software has been providing robust applications, development tools, and consulting services on the Microsoft platforms for over 20 years. The company boasts a global clientele in industry, government, education, and non-profits of all sizes and types.

Crow Canyon first focused on the Microsoft Exchange Server and Outlook environments, but once SharePoint rose to prominence as Microsoft’s collaboration platform, around 2007, the company expanded to providing applications and business services on SharePoint. Now, with the growing use of Office 365, Crow Canyon has again kept ahead by developing applications and tools that greatly enhance the capabilities of Office 365.

Job Description

The Application and Software Trainer ensures that all Crow Canyon customers are properly trained in Crow Canyon’s products and have the necessary documentation, videos, and other collateral to be successful in using the products. This requires significant interaction with the customer both in the initial training phase and in on-going interactions.

Training:

Trainer will schedule and run training sessions, both for new customers and for existing customers.

  1. Run Training sessions, via remote meeting software, for both NITRO Studio and Crow Canyon applications. Ensure all training sessions are recorded.
  2. Identify any modifications that may come up or that customer requests. Work with Account Manager on SOW and Contract changes
  3. Follow up on training and/or customizations to make sure customers are able to use the products successfully and are getting the full value out of them.
  4. Give feedback to the Crow Canyon team on any possible enhancements or modifications that would provide a better customer experience. Also, the Trainer should notice and report any bugs, odd behavior, misspellings, poor wording, etc., in the products, and report those, with the intention to make the products as excellent as possible. This feedback could come from customers or from the trainer’s usage and experience with the products.

Administrative:

  1. Update CRM when training is scheduled and when it is completed.
  2. Provide video links to customers of their specific training sessions.
  3. Stay up-to-date on new features and applications.
  4. Actively suggest product enhancements based on customer feedback and user experience
  5. Accurately track time spent on training and other tasks.

Documentation:

  1. Develop Training materials – pdfs, videos, etc.
    1. Develop and update “Getting Started Guides”
    2. Maintain and improve Training curriculums
  2. Update application and NITRO Studio manuals and documentation as needed

Other duties as assigned.
